Jews of Iraq? What about them?

Public Comments

  1. Don't you mean the jew of Iraq.
  2. What about them? What's the difference in them and the others?
  3. Just about all the Jews moved out of Iraq when Israel was formed, same with Iran. Any Jew that is still in Iraq or Iran is there voluntarely because they don't believe in Zionism.
  4. Saddam and the people of Iraq have no problem with the Jew;s, their problem is with the so called Zionist, who claim to be Jew's , the real Jew;s have as much trouble with the Zionist as Iraq, Iran and the middle east has with them they are the root problem in the middle east, the Jew;s and Arabs got along fairly well same as Catholics and Protestants in the U,S, until the Zionist started slaughtering them and stealing their businesses, homes, farms, etc, and the real Jew;s are against this as much as the Arabs are but they don't have the money which converts to power and the political pull , nor do they own America as the Zionist do, with a little research you will find out a lot of evil things and it won't be a pretty picture,
  5. Saddam Hussein displayed deep respect for anything relating to G-d. He saved and maintained all Jewish artifacts. The Jews had a fabulously amazing time going through all of the Babylonian relics and taking them to Israel. Unfortunately, it was the clumsiness of the US military that ended up damaging some Jewish relics -- not Saddam or his people. The Jews are trying to collect everything back to HaAretz. They played a very important role in developing Judaism while in Babylon.
  6. what about them? the shittes and the sunnis are the main ppl.
  7. Yeah I forgot, place must be full of em thanks for bringing our attention to this.
  8. One of Saddam's first acts when he came to power was to take 20 of the most prominent Jews in Iraq and hang and dismember them in public in a square in central Baghdad, with thousands of Iraqis cheering. Hardly surprising most of the rest left. The Idea that Jews were accepted there is just propaganda for naive westerners
  9. There used to be many Jews in Iraq. However, all Muslim countries - except Iran - kicked out their Jewish populations many years ago. And even prior to this, the Jews, and other non Muslims, were not given the same rights and freedoms as the Muslim population; they were very much second class citizens. In Saudi Arabia, it is still today illegal to own or use a bible, for example.
  10. all of them are assyrian
  11. I know there are a lot of Jews in Iraq. I don't have exact figures but there must be many among US soldiers and journalists. Regarding "of Iraq", invasion by US forced them out for good.
  12. Jews of Iraq are waiting for the US attack so that they could wage their takeover.
  13. No matter if in Iraq or other places. All people need respect. Remeber Lennon sing: IMAGINE. Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say, I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day You'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You may say, I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day You'll join us And the world will be as one.
